Shipping costs |
We ship to many different countries. You can check the shipping costs to your destination using our shipping calculator. Please note that shipping rates can be subject to change. You should check them regularly before placing a bid. |
Shipping insurance |
Optional insurance against loss and breakage is offered at 3,5% of the hammer price + buyer fee (with a minimum of € 5,00). Please note that this insurance does not cover issues related to an item's original condition, such as seal failures or existing label/box imperfections. |
Payment surcharges |
No payment surcharges are charged, except for non-European credit cards and business cards. Then a surcharge of 3,5% applies. Availability of payment methods may vary depending on your country. Check out the overview of available payment methods and their costs. |
Storage fees |
At European Whisky Auctions, you can store your won bottles. Storage is free for a period of 10 weeks, which includes at least 2 auction runs. After the expiration of the free storage period, a storage fee will be charged for the upcoming year. The storage fee amounts to 3,5% of the hammer price + buyer fee (with a minimum of € 5,00). The sum of the hammer price and buyer fee also constitutes the insured value of the bottle. |
