Before placing a bid, we strongly recommend checking our shipping rates and country availability to avoid any unexpected issues. If your country is not listed, unfortunately, we are unable to ship whisky to you (at this moment). However, you are always welcome to use an alternative shipping address.
Shipping rates are based on the total weight of the bottle(s) and/or the volume occupied by the packaging. For example, large bottles and packages take up more space. If this is the case, you will see this reflected in the number of slots listed with the lot.
Shipments can be protected with optional insurance against loss and breakage. Please note: leakage during transport is not covered by insurance.

Excise duties
What is excise duty?
Excise duty is a tax that applies to certain goods, including alcohol. It is separate from VAT and is usually calculated based on the amount of alcohol in the product — the higher the alcohol content, the higher the excise.
For whisky, this tax must be paid before the bottle can be legally sold or consumed. Each EU country sets its own excise rates and rules, which is why excise duty often needs to be paid again when a bottle is shipped across borders.
- Are you buying from outside the EU? No problem – no excise duty will be added. Customs of your country will take care of this.
