An incredible bottle of a 17 years old Talisker. This single malt was distilled in February 1940 and filled into Sherry casks that were laid to rest for at least 17 years until it was bottled in March 1957. The label has an interesting quote: "It's a fine speerit the Talisker, there's no a petter made". We can only imagine the tasting of a Talisker from that period... Bottled at 40% ABV, especially for Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd.
